Q: Can I register as a private candidate to sit examinations at your centre ?

A: Yes, as long as the specification you chosen is available for private candidates. Please check with your examination board.

 

 

Q: What exams do you offer ?

A: We offer all GCSE, IGCSE, As and A2 examinations from three different exam boards: Edexcel, OCR, WJEC.

 

 

 

Q: How do I know which exam I need to sit ?

A: We can help and advise you on which ones. However, prospective candidates would need to know that we would require some certain information from them before we can advise.

 

 

 

Q: Can I register to sit for an exam if I am from abroad ?

A: Yes, we have students from many countries come and sit their exams at our centre. Just follow the same procedure for booking exams. Please note: You need to make you own visa arrangements if you require one. We will not be able to assist you with your visa application. We provide you with a Statement of Entry to prove you are sitting your exams in Manchester, but we do not get involved any further.

 

 

 

Q: Do you offer refunds if I choose not to sit my exams ?

A: Yes, refunds are offered up to one day before the published date for exam registration. So if the deadline for registering (for example for June exams) is Febuary 14th and you let us know you want to withdraw on the 13th Febuary, we will be able to withdraw you and give you refund less administration cost of £35. If you let us know in March we will not be able to offer you a refund.

 

 

 

 

Q: Do you offer Science practical exams ?

A: Yes, we offer practical exams for A-level Science: Biology, Chemistry and Physics. We have a fully equiped Science laboratory, where exams are conducted. Practical exams take place between March and April and once you register, you will be notified of the exact date of your exam.
