School Experience:

I currently work in a South Manchester primary school where I assist with curriculum music teaching and tutor English and maths. I have previous private tuition experience in music (including ABRSM music theory, clarinet, saxophone, and vocal tuition). I also tutor at The Tutor Trust, this involves visiting primary schools and delivering primary English and maths tuition to groups of up to three pupils.

 

Teaching Style:

I have a varied approach to tutoring and am sensitive to the needs of different learning styles. All my sessions are well structured with a clear objective which usually directly relates to national curriculum criteria or a specific skill. The resources I use for tutoring range from written exercises to more interactive activities.
