The college offers a unique and highly successful one year GCSE programme for about 36 students who wish to transfer mid GCSE into year 11 or for students wishing to resit their GCSEs. The subjects offered form a core curriculum with a range of optional subjects and the course is delivered in its entirety in a year. It is expected that under normal circumstances students will be aged 17 or under on 1st September of the year or proposed study.

Students have a base room and a dedicated and highly experienced Head of Year to oversee the successful completion of the course. Students of statutory school age have timetabled Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) and sports.
