School Experience:

I have been teaching Mathematics for 12 years to students of all levels (from primary to university). I have also provided tuition of GMAT, CAT and SAT tests level mathematics to graduate students who wish apply for a place in US/UK/AUS/SA universities to study MBA.

 

 

 

Teaching Style: 

 

Step 1 - Identify and address the weakness(development) areas in a timely manner

I believe that a strong foundation is the key to the success at GCSE. I meet many students who need to refine their basic concepts of algebra, trigonometry, geometry and calculus before they can face the structured tests. At the first meeting I spend some time to identify the student's individual learning gaps, and address them as soon as possible in the following lessons.

Step 2 - Highlight strengths and motivate to develop further

We all need motivation. My students' homework usually consists of 20% of the revision of previously completed topics and 80% of the practice of newer topics. I provide regular updates to parents, highlighting key areas where the student needs a little bit of the support and make sure that the parents appreciate it and support their child in my absence. My students usually feel much more confident and happier with their own progress after just a few lessons.

Step 3 - Practice, Practice and more Practice

It goes without saying but I will spell it out, maths is magical but getting better at maths is not a magic. It needs a lot of hard work and practice. We do it in a proper way. My students and I never run out of unsolved problems, worksheets, homework sheets, mock tests, practice exam papers and other sources available from the internet.

I can communicate in 5 languages (English, Hindi, Polish, Gujarati & Urdu). My hobbies and interests include Mathematics, Computer Programming, Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Animation & Gaming and just about any thing innovative.
