School Experience:

As well as lecturing and running workshops around the world for many years when I was an academic researcher, I have tutored GCSE and A-level physics and maths and am familiar with the OCR, MEI, Edexcel and AQA syllabuses.

 

 

Teaching Style:

I want my students to succeed. As such I seek to understand their needs and goals, and identify their weaknesses and address those. I expect tutees to apply themselves, and will make sure they understand the steps necessary to solve any problem and the concepts behind them. I can provide the individual attention that is difficult to provide in a school environment.

 

 

 

About Me:

I have had a varied career spanning studying theoretical physics at Cambridge, being a software engineer in industry, a researcher in General Relativity at the Albert Einstein Institute in Germany, a lecturer in Computer Science in Cardiff, and now split my time between tutoring Maths, Physics and Computer Science, freelance software consultancy, and storytelling.
